Sticky's Spanner's Manual says -"One significant cause of electrical unreliability comes from poorly fitted crimp-on connectors. The common red and blue ones are not ideal for Lambretta stators because they are so fat that it make them tricky to get through a standard mag housing sealing plate. Non-insulated (original) type bullets or spades should preferably be used".
